Discover the Heart of PEP

Welcome to the heart of PEP, where passion meets purpose, and creativity knows no bounds. Our journey is a story of art, healing, and community, and we're excited to share it with you. Explore who we are, what we believe in, and the impact we're making.

Our Story

Pure Positive Energy is a nonprofit community organization based in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.
Our mission is to promote art, creativity, well-being, and personal development within the local community. We aspire to create a dynamic community that offers a variety of sessions, courses, activities, and events, with a dual focus on arts and therapeutic well-being.

PEP,  began as a vision to harness the power of art for well-being.
Founded by Alejandra Pèclat, Omar Noriega and a team of dedicated volunteers, PEP has evolved from a creative workshop into a vibrant community hub.

Our Mission

The dedicated volunteer committee of the PEP is committed to organizing a variety of activities, including artistic sessions that emphasize well-being and therapy. Our association not only participates in but also organizes events and activities to contribute to the local art scene and encourage innovation, traditional art, and the reuse of materials.

We also aim to serve as a hub for local artists, providing them with opportunities to showcase their work and talents within the community. The majority of our teachers and therapists are local volunteers who have their professional careers within the community. This collaborative approach benefits not only our members but also supports local professionals and fosters social cohesion.

This effort creates a full circle of engagement, bringing business to other professionals who generously volunteer their time with us, enhancing the community's creative development, and promoting therapeutic well-being.

Our mission can be simple yet profound: to promote mental and emotional well-being through art, creativity, and community. We believe that art has the power to heal, connect, and transform lives.

Our Values

At the core of PEP are values that guide our actions and decisions. Inclusivity, transparency, and collaboration are not just words to us; they are the principles that shape our organization.
The PEP Association is founded on values of cooperation, commitment, and sharing. Since its inception, the Association has actively worked to bring together a diverse community with interests in arts, crafts, creativity, and health. PEP promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creativity in an inclusive and discrimination-free environment.

Pure Énergie Positive Our Creative Philosophy

At PEP, we believe that creativity is not just for artists.
It’s not a skill you either have or don’t.
It’s not a product to perfect.
It’s a human instinct, a way to connect with yourself and with others. A tool for healing, expression, and joy.

We created PEP to be a space where creativity feels safe, welcoming, and alive.
Not an academy. Not a gallery.
But a living room for your imagination. A playground for your emotions. A space where nobody tells you your art is wrong — because that doesn’t exist here.

We offer workshops, open studio time, artistic therapy, and playful community events — each one shaped around our belief that art belongs to everyone.
Our doors are open to all: children, teens, adults, neurodiverse individuals, people with no art background, and people with art degrees they’ve never used. You don’t need to explain yourself to be here. You just need to show up.

We use what we have.
We reuse, remix, and reimagine.
We paint with our fingers. We sculpt with recycled materials. We print in 3D. We play with AI. We keep what serves us and leave what doesn’t.
We’re not here to pick sides between analog and digital. We’re here to explore how creation in any form can unlock something deep, soft, alive in us.

We value slowness. Sensitivity. Shared laughter.
We value the moments between making and meaning.
We value accessibility — financially, physically, emotionally.

We’re not chasing trends. We’re not selling perfection.
We’re building community through color and chaos and kindness.

We are here for those who want to feel more. To reconnect. To try again.
To remember how good it feels to make something with your own hands — and not care if it’s “good.”

Welcome to PEP.
Your creativity belongs here.

Our Commitment to a Non-Profit Ethos

At PEP, our commitment to a non-profit ethos is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that art, well-being, and community should be accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances.
As we evolve, we remain true to our non-profit roots. We're dedicated to providing opportunities for personal growth, emotional healing, and creative expression to all who seek them. Together, we can continue to create a world where art is a source of hope, healing, and connection.
Here's how we embody our non-profit values:

PEP operates as a non-profit organization, which means our focus is on our mission, not profits. We reinvest any income into our programs, ensuring accessibility and impact.
Our organization is built on values of cooperation, commitment, and sharing.
Our team is composed of dedicated volunteers who are committed to organizing enriching sessions, events, and artistic activities.

PEP operates with a primary focus on our mission—PEP is dedicated to promoting art, creativity, well-being, and personal development within the local community. This means that every decision we make, every session we offer, and every resource we allocate is driven by our dedication to healing and connecting individuals.
We offer a wide range of workshops, sessions, and activities with a dual focus on arts and therapeutic well-being.
These programs emphasize well-being and therapy, while also contributing to the local art scene and promoting innovation, traditional art, and the reuse of materials.

Unlike for-profit organizations, we don't chase profits. Instead, any income generated through our workshops, art therapy sessions, or events is reinvested directly into our programs. This ensures that our offerings remain accessible and that our impact continues to grow.
PEP's efforts create a full circle of engagement, bringing business to other professionals who generously volunteer their time with us, enhancing the community's creative development, and promoting therapeutic well-being.
Additionally, PEP serves as a hub for local artists, providing them with opportunities to showcase their work and talents within the community. The majority of our teachers and therapists are local volunteers who have their professional careers within the community, promoting a collaborative approach that benefits not only our members but also supports local professionals and fosters social cohesion.

Our core values, including inclusivity, transparency, and community engagement, guide our actions. We strive to create an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can come together, share their experiences, and find support and inspiration. PEP promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creativity in an inclusive and discrimination-free environment.
As a member or participant in PEP, you become part of a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive community dedicated to fostering creativity, personal development, and well-being.

PEP's funding comes from a variety of sources, including fees from our courses, art workshops and art therapy sessions. Additionally, we rely on the generosity of donors who believe in our mission. When you contribute—whether it's time, expertise, or financial support— it directly helps us to continue making a positive change in our community.
